Medical campaigns
Since 2005, Health Horizons International has been a sponsor and organizer of medical campaigns in rural areas in Cameroon.
Campaigns have been organized in the West Region in the village of Batoufam. Each campaign has been a success due to participation from our sponsors and partners. We have donated over $200, 000 in medications, hospital equipment and medical supplies. Over 2000 patients have benefited from our services and free drugs and we are hoping to exponentially increase that number as years go by.
Education
Health Horizons International has partnered with The Highlands University (Universite des Montagnes), in Cameroon to be able to provide lectures at the university. The goal of the lectures is to provide more insight into the treatment and management of chronic diseases in Africa. The lecture, which is conducted by Dr. Roger Tappa is primarily targeted toward final year students but all students may participate.
Volunteering
Health Horizons International has a network of volunteers that participate in diverse activities throughout the year. Volunteers include medical school students, medical professionals and the general public.
